Brings short, practical courses authored by institutions of standing into the Ujuzi-Tu learning area, and pairs learners with mentors — mobile-first, low-bandwidth, in Kiswahili and English.
The learning infrastructure already exists: enrolment, a course player, assessments and competence badges on each learner’s profile. What matters now is credible content, authored by training institutions that know the field, and mentors who help learners apply it.
Modules are short (two to eight hours), stackable into pathways, usable on a phone and at low bandwidth, downloadable for offline study, and taught in Kiswahili and English. A pass places a verifiable competence badge on the learner’s profile — a practical signal to clients, not a substitute for an academic award.
Our flagship five-year programme (2026/27 – 2030/31): digital skills and freelancing training, mentorship, community digital hubs, devices and connectivity, rural outreach and platform onboarding — measured every step of the way.
Uses digital work as a route out of poverty: identifying poor and near-poor households, routing them into paid work and supported purchases, with every transaction forming an evidence trail.
Governs every flow of non-profit money — causes, donations and sponsorships, beneficiary support and subsidised purchases — and builds the partnerships that fund the work.
