Welcome to our new website
Our new home online brings together everything we do: programmes, ways to give, applications for training and volunteering, and an open ledger of the money entrusted to us.
Ujuzi Initiative exists to turn digital skills into paid work for young people, women and underserved communities in Tanzania. Our new website is built around that mission.
What you can do here
- Apply for training or register your interest in upcoming digital skills cohorts.
- Volunteer or become a mentor for new freelancers.
- Give securely by mobile money or card, once or monthly, and receive a receipt that anyone can verify.
- Follow the money in our open ledger, which shows what comes in and how it is used, by fund.
- Report a concern confidentially, anonymously if you prefer.
The site is available in Kiswahili, English, French, German, Chinese and Arabic, and shows amounts in the currency you choose. Thank you for being part of the journey from learning to earning.
